Eligibility for Admission in C.S. Executive Program

(i) Passed CS Foundation Examination

(ii) Direct Entry in Executive for Graduate/Post-Graduate

Direct Entry in CS Executive

A candidate possessing any of the following qualifications is eligible for exemption from passing the Foundation Program examination:

(i) A degree or master’s degree in any discipline (other than Fine Arts); or

(ii) Pass in the Foundation examination of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI-CMA) or Common Proficiency Test (CPT) conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or any other Accountancy Institution in India or abroad recognized as equivalent thereto by the Council.

Last Date for CS Executive:

  • 28th February for appearing in Both Modules in December Examination in the same year.
  • 31st May for appearing in Single Module in December Examination in the same year.
  • 31st August for appearing in Both Modules in June Examination in the next year.
  • 30th November for appearing in Single Module in June Examination in the next year.

Registration Fee:

For CS Foundation pass students: Rs. 8500

For Commerce Graduates/CPT/ICWAI students: Rs. 12500

For Non-Commerce Graduates/CPT/ICWAI students: Rs. 13500

(Only 50% fee for SC/ST students and only 2000 for physically handicapped students)

Requirements for Passing executive Examination

A student may appear in both the groups simultaneously or in one group in one examination and in the remaining group at any subsequent examination. He is declared to have passed the executive examination, if he passes both the groups.

i. A student shall ordinarily be declared to have passed in both the groups simultaneously, if he...

  • a. Secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of each of the groups and minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers of each of the groups; or
  • b. Secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of both the groups and minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers of both the groups taken together

ii. A student shall be declared to have passed in a group if he secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of group and minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers of that group.

Exemption

A student who appeared in all the papers comprised in a Group/unit and fails in one or more papers comprised in that Group/Unit but secures a minimum of 60% of the marks in any paper(s) of that Group/Unit shall be eligible for exemption in that paper(s).
